How FreelanceXchain handles account, marketplace, verification, and transaction data. Last updated August 6, 2026.

Information we process

We process account details, profile information, project and proposal content, messages, uploaded files, KYC status and provider results, wallet addresses, payment records, disputes, reviews, and security logs.

Why it is used

Data is used to authenticate users, operate contracts and payments, match marketplace participants, prevent abuse, meet verification obligations, resolve disputes, provide notifications, and improve reliability.

Sharing and public data

Public profiles, projects, skills, and reviews can be visible to marketplace visitors. Service providers may process data for identity verification, storage, email delivery, infrastructure, and blockchain operations. Public blockchain records cannot generally be deleted.

Retention and security

Records are retained for the period needed to operate the service, resolve claims, prevent fraud, and satisfy legal obligations. Access controls, rate limits, audit logs, and encrypted transport are used to reduce risk.

Your choices

You can update supported profile and notification settings in your dashboard. Requests involving access, correction, or deletion may be limited where records must be retained or exist on a public blockchain.
